Resident Assistance Fund

As seniors are living longer, many are facing increased financial pressure due to rising care needs and economic challenges. In some cases, residents outlive their savings and are no longer able to cover the full cost of their care through no fault of their own.

The Resident Assistance Fund exists to help bridge that gap.

This fund provides financial support to residents who need continued care but lack the resources to afford it, ensuring they can remain in a safe, compassionate, and faith-centered community without disruption.

There are many meaningful ways to support Park Village Pines beyond a traditional cash donation. Whether you’re planning for the future or looking for a tax-efficient way to give, these options allow you to make a lasting impact on the lives of our residents.

Cash Gifts

The simplest and most immediate way to give. Cash donations can be made as a one-time gift or ongoing contribution and directly support resident care, community programs, and daily operations. Cash donations can be made using cash, checks, or credit/debit cards.

Gifts of Securities

Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds can be a smart, tax-advantaged way to give. These gifts may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while making a significant impact on senior care in Kalamazoo.

IRA Contributions

If you are 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. This allows you to support our mission while potentially reducing your taxable income.

Retirement Plan Assets

Naming Park Village Pines as a beneficiary of your retirement account, such as a 401(k), 403(b), or IRA, is a simple way to leave a lasting legacy while maximizing the impact of your gift.

Life Insurance

You can designate Park Village Pines as a beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy or donate a policy you no longer need. This option allows you to make a significant future gift with minimal impact today.
